Oxytocin

Oxytocin is a hormone produced by the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland, at the base of the brain.
Oxytocin can reduce blood pressure, also anti-inflammatory, and can reduce pain and enhance healing.
Oxytocin release reduces levels of stress hormones. Researchers found that massage was beneficial for measured oxytocin release.

Serotonin

Serotonin is involved in regulation of a range of behaviors including sleep, appetite, arousal, and aggression.
Serotonin prevents depression and makes a person happy.
